Halima’s journey – an exciting music and storytelling performance for the whole family!

Halima is a girl who lives in Sollandet with her mother. But one day it stops raining in Sollandet. Halima decides to do something about it and embarks on a long and dangerous journey…
The audience can follow Halima on her journey across the desert, sea and forest, and participate themselves by singing and creating rhythms for camel rides and breakneck boat rides. Maybe the children can help Halima complete her mission by conjuring the rain?
Halima’s journey is an exciting musical and storytelling performance for the whole family, which in fairy tale format describes a refugee child’s journey from his homeland to the new country in a poetic and compelling way. The performance is inspired by folk tales and is performed with storytelling and music with flutes, Persian tar, percussion and singing.
The music group Eastern Bias stands for newly composed music based on musical traditions from India, Iran, Sudan, Greece, the Balkan area and Sweden.
