Art Sangeet: Endangered – investigations
A collaboration with Skulptörens Verkstad

Endangered – investigations is a visual art project on the theme of endangered species in our environment. An artistic moving installation powered by solar energy will be shown in Skulptörens Verkstad. The audience will meet different local endangered species in a choreographic scenery at the venue.
As a part of the event the group Palace On Wheels will present a program of North Indian Classical Music focusing on rare ragas – ragas and compositions that, like many animal species today, are on the verge of extinction.
The program will start with an short discussion between visual artists, musicians and organizers about the various eco systems of culture and art and it’s threated spots and strenthes.
The project is presented by Kulturföreningen Källaren in collaboration with Föreningen Renqvists Verkstad, Boo Miljö- och Naturvänner and Stockholm Sangeet Festival.
Program 13 October:

12.00 Inauguration with presentation of the artists, the project and the species.

13.00 Artist talk about cultural eco systems

13.10 Music recital with Palace on wheels: Rare Indian Ragas

14.00 Boo Miljö och naturvänner tells us about endangered species in Boo.

The café will be open and serve coffee, snacks and barbecue.
The younger visitors can explore the Childrens Roundtrip in the garden.
